More spring creations!

So excited it was almost 40' yesterday here in KC.... talk about a heat wave! Of course the warmer weather gets me thinking about spring and really believing it's coming soon!

Speaking of spring...here are some cookies I created for a friend which were just so fun to create & decorate!

Recent Cookie Creations!

A friend of mine had posted an "ad" on Facebook, if you will, looking for someone who knew of or could create Dr. Seuss cookies for her son's 2nd birthday. Me...loving a good baking challenge responded, "sure, I'll give it shot!" So...I created a "test batch" last weekend and I'll have to say they were so much fun to create and especially decorate...I think my faves were the fish because once I put on the face, they just came to life!

Welcome to Colleen's Cakes and Cookies!

I'm so excited to "officially" begin my baking journey. One of my favorite items to bake are birthday character cakes for my peepers, Hannah & Hank! I've started a trend with their birthdays by doing "character cakes" which they choose...so at 6 & 4...I have quite the collection already!
